Comic Mint is pleased to offer Looney Tunes fans this unique piece of animation art featuring Bugs Bunny holding an Oscar in this sold out 12 field cel. This colorful limited edition cel is based on the 1944 Merry Melodies cartoon short, What's Cookin' Doc?, directed by Bob Clampett. The cel is hand-painted by the Bob Clampett Animation Art studio using the same methods employed in preparing cels for actual production.
This edition of 500 pieces (worldwide) has been SOLD-OUT for two decades, as it was released way back in 1991, and is very hard to find. The artwork is comprised of a single hand painted cel placed against a photographic background, and is matted to an image area measuring 11.75" x 9.5" inches (unframed).
The cel has the official Bob Clampett gold seal (upper corner), and is accompanied with a certificate of authenticity.
