We are pleased to offer PEANUTS fans ”Houndini's Hat Trick” which is a Snoopy and Woodstock Peanuts Limited Edition from It's Magic Charlie Brown celebrating the 40th anniversary of this special.

A hand-inked and painted limited edition animation cel set-up, accompanied by a signed giclee print Key Pose Model Sheet designed and completed under the direction of animator/director, Larry Leichliter, from the studio of Bill Melendez Productions. What better way to celebrate 40 years of Houndini’s debut on television than with his famous bunny-out-of-the-hat trick! Heckled by the boy in the front row when Woodstock is pulled out by his bunny ears, Houndini brushed him off with a pop on the head with his top hat. Houndini continues to amaze the audience.

Charles Schulz was fascinated by the sleight of hand/magic. In 2019, his museum dedicated an exhibit to the comic strips featuring Snoopy as Houndini.

The cel set-up of Snoopy and Woodstock is a standard 12 field, 12.25” x 9.75” inches, and is presented on a giclee print background.. The Key Pose Model Sheet measures 14" x 12" inches and is printed on Arches Velin 100% rag paper signed by Larry Leichliter.
Both pieces are serial numbered in a small edition size of just 50 pieces and bear the studio seal of authenticity. Each edition is accompanied by the studio certificate of authenticity.

It's Magic, Charlie Brown is the 21st prime-time animated television special based upon the comic strip Peanuts, by Charles M. Schulz. It originally aired on April 28th, 1981.
