Comic Mint is pleased to offer CHUCK JONES fans this sensational limited edition cel featuring a classic moment from the ending of "Ali Baba Bunny" (released in 1957).
In this hand-painted cel, Bugs has made it to Pismo Beach and while tucking into the area's famous clams casually wonders how Daffy's encounter with the genie worked out.
Opening one clam and discovering a pearl inside, he soon finds out! A tiny Daffy, shrunk to a few inches in height, emerges from Bugs' burrow trail in the sand and claims the pearl for his own - uttering the classic line ""Mine mine mine!". Bugs closes the clam on the greedy duck by saying "Oh, brother, close sesame!"
The cel is hand signed by Chuck Jones (September 21, 1912 – February 22, 2002).
This edition of 500 pieces (worldwide) has been SOLD-OUT for over a decade, and is becoming hard to find. The artwork is comprised of a single hand painted cel placed against a photographic background, with an image area measuring 12.5" x 10.5" inches (unframed).
The cel has the official Linda Jones gold seal (lower corner), and is accompanied with a certificate of authenticity.
