Comic Mint is pleased to offer CHUCK JONES fans this unique piece of animation art featuring Marvin Martian, K9 and Duck Dodgers, in this SOLD-OUT 12 field cel created by Chuck Jones with accompanying background by Maurice Noble entitled: "K-9 X-A-Q-TOR".
The Original line image was hand-drawn on paper by Chuck Jones. The image line was transferred by serigraph screen to the cel and each cel was hand-painted on the reverse side. Maurice Noble provided the art direction and layout design for the accompanying background. Mr. Jones and Mr. Noble approved each finished cel with their signature.
This piece was produced in a tiny edition size of 100 pieces (worldwide) and was instantly SOLD-OUT from the studio on release back in 2,000. The artwork is comprised of a single hand painted cel placed against a photographic background, with an image area measuring 10.5" x 12.5" inches (unframed). The cel has the official Linda Jones gold seal (lower corner), and is accompanied with the studio certificate of authenticity.
The cel is also custom matted with 100% acid-free matts, ready to be inserted into a frame.
