Comic Mint is pleased to offer Looney Tunes fans this sensational publicity cel, which is a recreation from the Looney Tunes 1956 classic, “The Honey-Mousers". Alice and Ralph Crumben have been painstakingly hand-inked, on the front side of the cel and meticulously hand painted on the reverse side, in the same manner as the original cartoon was created.
The cel is registered against a high quality giclee print background, and is accompanied with a beautiful giclee print of the theatrical short’s title card which measures 5” x 3.5” inches, and would look great fully matted with the cel. The cel measures 12.5” by 10.5” inches, and is in excellent condition.
STORYLINE:
In this spoof of TV's "The Honeymooners", Ralph Crumden and Ned Morton are mouse versions of Jackie Gleason and Audrey Meadows' characters on the TV show. When new human tenants move into the apartment where the Crumden and Morton couples live, Ralph and Ned try to gain access to a banquet of food in the people's refrigerator, which is guarded by an orange cat.
