Comic Mint is pleased to offer FRIZ FRELENG fans this unique piece of animation art titled: "Mouse Divided".

Inspired by the final scene in Friz Freleng’s classic 1953 cartoon “A Mouse Divided” Sylvester finds himself in a bonnet and baby carriage – the victim of an inebriated stork. In 1982 legendary Warner Bros. director and animator, Friz Freleng, began creating a special collection of limited edition animation cels. A limited edition cel is a recreation of an original production cel or a hand-tailored cel depicting a favorite character in a special scene. Mr. Freleng personally developed and drew the original master art for each of his limited editions. The cel image is hand-inked on an original master cel. Silkscreened ink lines are then created from the master for each of the limited edition pieces. In traditional animation style, the cels are turned over and hand-painted on the back using animation cel paint. The hand-painted background image is photographically reproduced to insure the best color and reproductive quality. Each piece has a studio seal and is signed by Mr. Freleng.

This edition of 750 pieces (worldwide) has been SOLD-OUT for over two decades, as it was released way back in 1992, and is very hard to find. The artwork is comprised of a single hand painted cel placed against a photographic background, with an image area measuring 16.5" x 13.5" inches (unframed). The cel is hand signed by Friz Freleng (1905-1995). The cel has the official Warner Brothers gold seal (upper left corner), and is accompanied with the studio certificate of authenticity.

This cel also comes custom matted with 100% acid-free matts, ready to be inserted into a frame.
