We are pleased to offer SIMPSONS fans this RARE hand painted original production cel, from the classic tenth season episode "Bart The Mother" (1998).

In the kitchen, Homer looks into a nest which has two, newly hatched, green baby lizards! Homer: (giggling and staring) "Aw, you look like a little tiny dinosaur!” Homer pokes one of them, and then gets bitten and screams "This is one vicious baby bird!”.

This is a one-of-a-kind, hand-painted production cel (there are no others), and the artwork was filmed and used in the making of this SIMPSONS episode. Freeze-frame your DVD or Video, and you will see this unique piece of artwork on screen around the 15:03 mark. Homer and the baby lizard are hand-painted onto a single cel and placed against a copy of the matching scene background.

This 12 field, 3-peghole, celluloid measures 10.5 inches by 12.5 inches wide, and bears the Twentieth Century Fox gold seal (lower corner). The artwork is also accompanied with the original Twentieth Century Fox certificate of authenticity and is in excellent condition.

EPISODE SYNOPSIS:
"Bart the Mother" is the third episode of The Simpsons' tenth season. It originally aired on the Fox network in the United States on September 27th, 1998. In the episode, Bart accidentally kills a mother bird with a BB gun, and decides to hatch and take care of the two eggs he found in the bird's nest.
