Comic Mint, your best source for Ren & Stimpy animation art, is pleased to offer fans this RARE original hand painted production cel from the classic first season episode “Space Madness" (1991).

This great scene features Ren relaxing in the bathtub, sliding down on his back into the water: "Ahhhh…” Ren squirts some water out of his fist. He quickly looks around and sinks down deeper into the water. Some bubbles appear and Ren raises his head, grinning!

This is a one-of-a-kind, hand-painted cel setup which was filmed and used in the making of this episode. Freeze-frame your DVD or Video, and you will see this unique piece of artwork on screen around the 06:26 mark. This production setup is  comprised of two seperate animation cels measuring 10.5 inches by 12.5 inches wide and have the three-peg punch holes, and has the Nickelodeon gold seal (lower corner).
The cels are placed against the matching scene background and accompanied with the original Nickelodeon certificate of authenticity and is in excellent condition.

Episode Synopsis:
"Space Madness" is a first season episode of The Ren & Stimpy Show that originally aired on September 8th, 1991 and was the fifth episode in the series. Commander Hoek & Cadet Stimpy go into Space for a long mission. Commander Hoek is starting to go insane from being in space for so long, but belives that Cadet Stimpy is suffering from that problem... otherwise known as 'Space Madness.’
