We are pleased to offer PEANUTS fans this unique piece of animation art entitled: "Snoopy's Dogfight".
From the much loved PEANUTS TV Special "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" (1966) this fabulous diptych art features Snoopy as the famous World War 1 flying ace, atop of his sopwith camel, fighting the Red Baron.

This Hand Painted Limited Edition Cel was created by artist Larry Leichliter, of Bill Melendez Productions. Creating "Snoopy's Dogfight", Mr. Leichliter sketched a series of storyboard panels based on the action-packed scene in "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown". Three of these panels inspired the layout drawing for this limited edition cel.

Next, Mr. Leichliter selected five of his storyboard panels for a giclee print, creating a diptych of animation and completing the original scene's esprit de corp. This limited edition animation cel is hand-inked, hand-painted and is mounted on a giclee background print. A Peanuts limited edition is individually numbered and bears the Peanuts Film Gallery seal of authenticity and features the signature of artist Larry Leichliter.

This piece was produced in a small edition size of 150 pieces (worldwide). The artwork measures 9.5" x 24" inches (unframed) and is accompanied with the studio certificate of authenticity.
