"A Charlie Brown Christmas" Golden Book - Original Interior Pages 18 and 19 Illustration Artwork (Golden Press, USA, 1988).

This beautiful two-page spread featuring Charlie Brown and Sally was created for the Golden Book adaption of “A Charlie Brown Christmas” (1988) one of the most iconic (and almost "required viewing") Christmas cartoons ever! Created as a printed line art cel overlay on top of a hand-painted gouache Key Master background on illustration board with lovely, vivid colours, masterfully illustrated by Art and Kim Ellis. The image area measures 12" x 19” inches wide and the artwork is in fine condition.

While traditional animation may have many similar images used to make one scene, with book art there is just the one single image... which makes this very rare and desirable.

Please note that the book images are for reference only, and do not accompany the artwork.
