Hogarth Hughes rides high in the hand of his new friend, the Iron Giant, in this delightful hand-painted limited edition animation cel. Recreated directly from original drawings as well as a digital background from the artists at Warner Brothers Feature Animation.
The cel comes fully matted and shrink-wrapped, ready to pop straight into a frame. The matting is a linen matting with a special metal plate printed with 'The Iron Giant' logo, and incorporated into the framing. This is a great piece that was limited to only 200 pieces. This cel is numbered 142.
Created in 1999 for the Warner Brothers Studio Store Gallery, this piece was SOLD-OUT upon release, and is one of the toughest animation cel editions to find. This hand-painted cel is applied to a photographic background, with the artwork measuring 16" by 10.5" inches, and is in excellent condition. The cel has the official Warner Brothers studio seal (lower corner), and is accompanied with the studio certificate of authenticity.
