Comic Mint, is pleased to offer SCOOBY DOO fans this RARE hand-painted limited edition animation cel entitled "Werewolf? There Wolf!" (1997), signed by Bill Hanna & Joe Barbera.
This hand-painted limited edition cel was inspired by the episode of "Scooby-Doo, Where Are You?" entitled: The Haunted House Hang-Up, which finds Shaggy, Scooby and the rest of those "meddling kids" in the throes of another of their much loved mysteries, where the fear is just an act, and the bad guys always get caught.
This limited edition cel began with a master inking by Barbara Krueger, which was then silkscreened onto an Exlar sheet (or "cel") in two colors, along with the Hanna-Barbera seal. Each cel was then expertly hand-painted on the reverse side, using original Hanna-Barbera colors. The background was recreated by Dennis Durrell and reproduced using a fine art lithography process. The edition number was hand-inked on each cel in an edition size of only 350 pieces. In the final step of production, studio founders William Hanna and Joseph Barbera approved each cel with their signatures.
This edition is extremely difficult to find, as it has been sold-out for nearly two decades. The artwork measures 12.5" x 10.5" inches and is in excellent condition. The cel has the official Hanna-Barbera Studio seal in the lower corner, and is accompanied with the studio certificate of authenticity.
