Touché Turtle Production Cel Setup (Hanna-Barbera, 1962).
"Touché Away... It's Touché Turtle!" Touché Turtle and Dum Dum were part of The Hanna-Barbera New Cartoon Series. This syndicated series also featured Wally Gator with Lippy the Lion and Hardy Har Har; most local stations simply called it The Wally Gator Show. It premiered on 9/3/62.
Here is a rare hand-inked, hand-painted 12 field production cel setup of Touché Turtle having a sword fight with a fire-breathing dragon. These cels are from the opening song sequence; the dragon can be seen about the 8 second mark, and Touche Turtle can be seen around the 0:20 second mark into the song. This 4-cel production setup is presented on a Hanna-Barbera background..
Early 1960s hand-inked opening animation art for all H-B shows is extremely rare. The artwork was created at the HANNA-BARBERA studios in Hollywood, California, and is accompanied with a certificate of authenticity. In very good condition.
