This classic image of SPACE GHOST introduces each episode with the title name. SPACE GHOST is meticulously hand-inked and hand-painted on acetate, the logo and titles are printed on a high quality giclee background. Created at the HANNA-BARBERA STUDIO in Hollywood, California as part of their marketing/publicity/consumer products projects. Slides and transparencies are created from the art and sent to magazines and newspapers to gather interest in the series. Photos are also sent to fans who write into the studio requesting a photo.
Cels such as this are EXTREMELY RARE and were NEVER made available in stores, so finding a cel such as this piece is virtually impossible!

Space Ghost is an American Saturday morning superhero animated television series produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions and created by the acclaimed artist Alex Toth. Space Ghost was a  sci-fi animated action series that premiered on September 10th, 1966, and lasted for 42 thrilling episodes. Space Ghost, along with teenaged sidekicks, Jan and Jace, and their pet monkey Blip, fight villains in outer space.
