Comic Mint is pleased to offer Winnie the Pooh fans this RARE and sold-out piece of Disney history.

"TUG OF WAR" is an outstanding limited edition of 500 hand-painted character cels is based on artwork from Walt Disney's enchanting animated featurette "Winnie the Pooh and the Honey Tree" (1966).
The artwork has been authentically reproduced by the world-famous Disney Ink and Paint Department.

The background scene for this cel has been faithfully reproduced by a Disney background artist, using as reference material, original "Winnie the Pooh and the Honey Tree" background paintings, sketches and frames from the film. It has has been printed on premium-quality paper by Color Service, Inc., of Monterey Park, California.

All cels in this edition are numbered from 1/500 to 500/500 and were produced in 1990 and 1991. There are no signed cels. This recreated cel setup is from Sequence 1, Scene 628, in which Christopher Robin, Eeyore and Kanga try to rescue Pooh, who has become stuck in Rabbit's doorway. This piece is numbered 228/500. This cel bears the Disney embossed seal in the lower corner.
The image measures 13" inches across by 16" inches high, and comes with the original Disney Studio Certificate of Authenticity.
