COMMENTS
We are pleased to offer this rare ink and crayon artwork created by Warner Brothers legendary animation director, Robert McKimson.

The artwork is for the final page of Woody Woodpecker & His Talent Show, an elaborate book-and-record set from Capitol Records' Record Reader series published in 1949.
The gimmick was to read the book while listening to the phonograph - a popular sensation in a time before television usurped the storytelling hour. McKimson illustrated many Record Readers, concentrating primarily on Bugs Bunny-related titles. The image area is approximately 11" x 9" inches and the artwork is in excellent condition.

Please note that the original artwork is also accompanied with a copy of the published reader book which is in excellent condition, as pictured.
