Comic Mint, is pleased to offer this terrific vintage original hand-painted animation cel with matching set of original animator's drawings used in the production of the 1970s television commercial titled "Really Tony" for Kellogg's Sugar Frosted Flakes which was animated by Quartet Films. A huge image of Tony the Tiger autographed by the original voice of the character, Thurl Ravenscroft (1914 - 2005).

This is as near a perfect piece of Tony the Tiger / Kellogg's Sugar Frosted Flakes memorabilia that you'll ever see. This cel measures 10.5" x 12.5" inches and is accompanied with the original Certificate of Authenticity issued from ASIFA and Quartet Films (the production company for the TV commercial). The artwork is also accompanied with a 4" x 6" inch original color snapshot of Thurl Ravenscroft, as shown, holding the cel when he autographed it. He boldly wrote his signature "Grrrrreat !" above his signature with black permanent marker pen.

Since the late great voice actor and singer Thurl Ravenscroft never did any type of official signings or personal appearances, a signed cel from one of his many Tony the Tiger commercials is extraordinarily rare. Thurl was the voice of Tony for fifty years.
