Comic Mint is pleased to offer CHUCK JONES fans this unique piece of animation art entitled "Hair Raising Hare" featuring Bugs Bunny, Gossamer, Evil Scientist and Robot Bunny. This was the first Chuck Jones cartoon that featured the orange, tennis shoe-wearing, hairy, and inter-rest-ting monster, Gossamer (named later), 1946's "Hair-Raising Hare", is perhaps one of the most popular of Jones's cartoons.
"Hair Raising Hare" has been created from an original line drawing on paper by Chuck Jones, with the image lines transferred by hand-cut serigraph screen to clear acetate film, and each cel is individually hand painted on the reverse side. Chuck Jones approved each finished cel with his signature.
The background design and production has also been supervised and approved by the artist, with an image area measuring a whopping 13.5" x 33" inches (unframed).
The cel has the official Linda Jones gold seal (lower corner), and is accompanied with a certificate of authenticity.
This edition of 500 pieces (worldwide) is difficult to find, and has been SOLD-OUT for two decades, as it was released way back in 1995.
